Gadgets of the future. At the end of the 90s of the last century, hardly anyone imagined that almost all of us would have access to the Internet at home and at least one smart device. From books and films that debuted in the last century, we can learn about the vision and predictions of their authors about the distant future. Although we lived to see many of the dates mentioned in them, we still do not travel in time, do not live on foreign planets, and our cars cannot fly. Michael J. Fox, the main character of the series “Back to the Future” in the second part of the film, moved from 1985 into the distant future. Exactly October 21, 2015 is the date chosen by the film Marty Mcfly.

How do the creators think the world is going to look like in just over a year? Cars will disappear from the streets and all traffic will move to the air. Each of us will have a portable computer resembling today’s tablet. In arcades, you will be able to play various titles using only your own body (today Kinect and Move, respectively).

The world will also be dominated by the technology of 3D movies, we will be able to watch many channels at the same time or conduct videoconferences on flat TVs attached to the wall. In the film, we also saw flying skateboards, miniature food that, when put into a microwave oven, took on its original size, fuel from garbage or ubiquitous faxes. It turns out that some of these things were not just film fiction and we are now using this or a similar technology. And how is the immediate future portrayed today?
