For the last few weeks, I have been testing one of the most popular and most-bought vacuum cleaners on a marketplace. More than a thousand people have already bought the Kerch 3300 model. Is it a good purchase and is it worth spending 70 euro? Opinion, review

Vacuum Cleaner Kerch 3300 – introduction

My previous vacuum cleaner has been with me for nearly 7 years. It was a large Zelmer Aquawelt with the function of washing carpets and vacuuming using a water filter. It was heavy, huge, it was hard to hide somewhere. I did not wash many rugs, and the equipment at some point did not want to turn on. I decided it was time to buy something smaller that could provide me a way to fast and easy vacuum.

For a long time I wondered what to choose. Cordless vacuum cleaners, which can be purchased for a few years, cost well over 250 euro. I did not want to spend so much on such equipment. The choice fell on the most-bought device on Allegro – Kerch 3300.

Kerch 3300 – first impressions

The vacuum cleaner is not big. There is one small rotating wheel in the front and two large rubber wheels at the back. Above them there is a suction power control and two buttons – to turn the device on and off, and to rewind the cord. The largest element is the centrally located dust container. It can be detached and opened, which makes it easy to remove dirt. We also have access to the HEPA H13 filter from above.

The set with the vacuum cleaner includes a universal main brush with the option of switching between floors and carpets, a parquet brush, a crevice nozzle, a small brush and a mini turbo brush and a metal telescopic tube. The plastic used in the tips looks quite cheap, as does the handle itself.

Kerch 3300 – in practice

From the very first turn on the vacuum cleaner, I was very positively surprised by the suction power. The vacuum cleaner is not silent, but it eagerly collects all dirt from the floor. The power is so great that the brush almost sticks to the floor when vacuuming. The brushes themselves are quite thick, so it’s hard to get them under lower furniture. The wrist is also tired of the longer vacuuming. The brushes lack solutions known from other manufacturers’ devices that facilitate moving or maneuvering the brush on the floor (e.g. small wheels or a more flexible joint). Here we have to use a little bit of force all the time, which you will surely feel while vacuuming the whole house.

It is worth paying attention to the subversive nature of the device. It has a fairly high center of gravity and only three wheels. This causes the vacuum cleaner to tip over when you twist or pull the pipe harder. This can be annoying and requires some proper technique and getting used to. I also have attention to the turbo brush itself. It is quite small, but has no articulation. This means that we have to vacuum the carpet with it almost in parallel – if we almost do not lie on it, we will not be able to clean it well. This is a rather strange solution that will work better for small rugs or upholstered furniture.

Also be careful when finishing cleaning. The cord winding button is so sensitive that the cord flies to the vacuum cleaner like a bullet and you can hurt yourself with it.

Kerch 3300 – cleaning the container

Cleaning is the weak point of this vacuum cleaner. The main container detaches quite easily. The button in the handle is used for this. Then there were two clips on both sides. If they are undermined, the waste container or the filter is opened. While cleaning the filters is not a problem, the pouring out of dust is problematic. Not all the dirt can be easily poured out, because it gets stuck on the walls of the container. You can also see how it stays on the gasket separating both containers. It cannot be cleaned in any way without disassembling it. After vacuuming, I expected to be able to easily dump the dirt, but it is not.

Summary

In sum. The Kerch 3300 vacuum cleaner is a fairly light and small cyclone vacuum cleaner, which has a fairly high power and eagerly sucks in all impurities. It is also easy to tip over, and cleaning the container itself is quite problematic. In addition, there is a low quality of tips, which are difficult to dust, for example, on parquet floors. After all, it is a fairly cheap and effective bagless vacuum cleaner.
